João Baptista Borges, the Minister of Energy and Water, has been in the People’s Republic of China since the 17th and is expected to return on June 22. He is attending the 15th Edition of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) in Macau/China, which focuses on the theme “GREEN INNOVATION, DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY.”
In addition to attending the forum, the minister is carrying out a busy work schedule that includes high-level meetings and visits to the exhibition showcasing Chinese companies, particularly those involved in the energy and water sectors.
Today, as part of his itinerary, the Angolan minister visited the stand of the company SiNOMACH-CMEC. During this visit, he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between GAMEK and SINOHIDRO, which will facilitate collaboration on projects involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations in Angola. This agreement is set to enhance the country’s energy and water sector infrastructure.
